Liberated

Nu har jag tagit bort min Facebook. Det är säkert bara tillfälligt, men jag behöver det.
Jag måste fokusera lite igen.  Livet går bra, men om jag vill att allting ska börja come together liksom måste jag prioritera vad jag vill i framtiden.

Några saker att tänka på:
- Hitta ett jobb
- Bygga kredit (vet inte om det är samma på svenska. "Build credit" alltså.)
- Lyckas med sommarkurser
- Köpa en ny mobil
- Skaffa en bil
- Flytta in till den nya lägenheten (dock det är inte tills mitten eller slutet av augusti)

Ja men nu är det dags för läkarbesök. Och kanske lite mat.

Filmkväll

Imorse vaknade jag med ett telefonsamtal från Northern Arizona University.  Jag hade frågat efter information om hur jag kan plugga i Sverige och få college credit samtidigt.  Bara en idé men hoppas att det går.  Kvinnan på andra sidan var jättepigg o glad och jag bara orkade inte så jag fick till slut fel information.  Excellent.

Men efter det har det varit en ganska bra dag faktiskt.  Jag hann göra mitt tvätt, tvätta Daves "cage", få en bok för skolan, spela piano och gitarr, och handla en present till en kompis på Amazon.com (och en skiva till mig).

Ikväll far jag med en kompis för att se den nya filmen Black Swan med Natalie Portman och Mila Kunis.  Spännande! Jag har hört jättemycket om denna filmen och jag har bara varit på bio typ 2 gånger hela hösten.  Jag önskar att jag kunde åka oftare, men det har jag helt enkelt inte råd med.  Men whoo hoo för ikväll.  Hoppas att filmen är värt mina pengar :P

Do The Jane Fonda

Hm.  Det blir liksom det finns mindre och mindre att säga.  Men jag har kul, visst är det allt som spelar roll?
Pluggar jättemycket, fast det är fortfarande jättemycket jag hinner inte med eftersom jag vill ha ett liv...?
Har några nya vänner som betyder ganska mycket för mig nu.


Homecoming var igår.  Basketboll matchen var ganska kul fast inga av mina rumkamrater gillar idrott så jag gick ensam men träffade några kompisar där och hade kul.  Sen sov jag och när jag gick att kolla på homecoming dansen var det ganska tråkigt och jag kände inte för det.  Så jag gick till min granne och spelade lite Halo: Reach.  Hemskt kul spel.  Halo och Call of Duty är mina nya favoriter hahaha.  Oj oj oj, jag hänger med för många killar nuförtiden...

Idags planer består av att handla med min syster och pappa (medans min syster visar en bil som de kanske ska köpa åt henne) och sen ska jag softa med några vänner.

And not really enjoying it.
Yesterday and today have been surprisingly productive.  I ended up at a neighbors apartment for a couple of hours to study for the chemistry exam both days and I actually think I might have gotten somewhere.  It should be better than last time at least...I hope.

I've made a new goal for myself.  Things have gotten static again so I need to mix things up.  I've already mixed a couple of things up but it doesn't feel like enough.  I don't feel satisfied with my life right now.  So I'm going to rearrange my room to hold me off for another couple of days and then I'm going to have to do something.  I'm not sure what yet, but it has to be something.

Oh but back to the point, my goal: I'm going to get into shape with school, it's gotten to the point where it's not even funny how much I put off.  Starting the second I post this I'm going to be in school mode.  I'm going to fix my life so I can get to where I want to be.

Which means I'm going to email my advisor tomorrow and request to switch my major. Oh damn.
And then I'm going to do research this week on what schools I'm going to apply for transfer.  Or maybe I'll stay here.  But either way, I need to explore options at least.

So here goes.

The weather has been almost perfect, just a little bit warm still but the cold front is soooo nice.
Which makes the flag football game tonight something to really look forward to.
I can't believe October is tomorrow.

Yeaaah buddy.  I did.  But it's super catchy!

Anyways, I am now a proud owner of a learner's permit.  It was getting to the point where I thought I would never get to see the day.  Hmm, but here it is.  Even though I'm not smiling in my picture.  (Oh yeah!  Even permits have pictures now!  And cost more too!)  I actually look like I'm really peeved about something, like a bratty little kid, actually.

This weekend consisted of dinner at Lee's, which was great, and getting my permit.  I played with Nike a lot as well.  I do love me some Nike.

My henna tattoo is going away! :( noot coool.  But that is the circle of life, no?

Now I'm just gonna watch some True Blood and then go to sleep.  Important things to do!

1. Go to the student union and set up a bank account!
2. Apply for a job at Target :/  But maybe I can do that later?
3. Eventually buy some textbooks, at least the ones I know I need and can already find cheap.

Oh, maybe it's not that many things to do...

Oh well!

Just came back from the dog park with my dad, sister, && Nike <3  We had a bit of ice cream and chilled and now I'm going bowling with Aivy and people from her work.  I'm not much of a bowler (except for on  Wii Sports, there I am nothing short of a champion) but this has potential of being cool.

Like A Fuck You For Christmas, This Gift Is A Curse

I love Nike.  I really do.  He's adorable, smart, a good boy, and did I mention adorable?
He was a bit resistant in the beginning of his agility training this morning, but near the end he started getting everything super fast.  Afterwards my dad took us to get slushees, but I just stole some from Jenny :P

Anyways, today's big plan is the Dallas Aquarium with an old family friend who's driving down from Denton to hang out with me and my sister.  Should be fun :)

Call me weak, call me coward

Feeling better.  Especially now that I've talked to my buddies ;)

My back is still super sore just where the shelf hit me, but I guess it's fine...
Either way, I had a good evening despite my (semi-self-inflicted) misfortune.

I ended up cleaning for a while and then in the evening me and my brother took Nike to the park and played a bit of soccer.  Damn, that dog can run.  We had so much fun running from him while passing the ball to each other.  But as things riled down, I ran into a friend of mine and we ended up catching up for a bit before splitting ways and heading home.

Swimming has become a daily activity, and yesterday was no exception.  Swam and then started the movie Cloverfield (looove Marlena) but it was too creepy for my little brother so we watched The Proposal instead and decided to continue Cloverfield today while light out.  The Proposal is actually a supercute movie, I like :)

Todays big plan: THE DENTIST. Dum dum dum.

Off To See The Wizard

In this case, the wizard is Aivy.

Going to hang out with friends for the first time in a couple of days.  And that time it wasn't much of a hangout either, more like just saying hey and then going home to collapse in bed.

Hopefully I do better this time :)

Det Här Är Ju Inte Ens Rättvisst...

Inte ens i närheten.  Inte ens i mitten av hela landet.  H&M hatar oss som bor i mitten av usa.

Det skulle bli jättesmart av dem att öppna ett butik i Dallas.  På Stonebriar, Willow Bend, eller North Park.  Det är där alla med pengar shoppar och det finns bara trendiga affärer, de skulle ju passa direkt in.

Jag kämpar för det här.  H&M måste komma till Dallas.  Eller åtminstone i Texas.  Kanske även Oklahoma.  Då är det en anledning att faktiskt åka dit.. (skooojar baara)

In other news...


jag har varit på Holmön i helgen firande Midsommar...det var ganska kul.  Jättefint där.
Efter det mådde jag illa ett tag och igår får vi ut till vår sommarstuga.  Fint väder, fina dagar.  Har tänkt att fara ut igen till helgen...ska se hur allting blir.

Imorgon kommer Hanna och vi ska laga en internationell middag.  Fun fun fun! Mer om det sen..

Nu är det bara utflyttning som gäller.  I natt är sista natten som jag ska sova här.  I morgon är den sista morgon som jag ska vakna här.  Tragiskt, tycker jag.

Orkar inte ladda upp bilder men de kommer så småningom.

Imorrn flyttar jag till Farmor och Farfar i en vecka.  Fredag åker vi till Holmön till Midsommar.  Ellilo hänger med ;)

Och sen är det bara att ta det lugnt, flytta till Jennie, flytta tillbaka till Farmor och Farfar, och sen flytta till Daaaaalllllaaass!! <3

I've sent home a bunch of things now.
Scary.  But on the bright side, I may have sold my desk but no promises yet.  My fingers are crossed.
Lets see.  I have to go to the library and I have to clean the apartment.
At the sametime I have to hang out with my besties! :D

I'm a little depressed that Emma is gone.  More than a little, I guess.

My thoughts are beginning to scatter again.

I've had an amazing week and yet it's broken my heart.  I said goodbye to so many people this weekend...
11 to be exact.
And I dont have the patience to watch any tv shows cause I want to be outside
But now its raining so that botched my plans to go running and maybe tan a bit..
So I guess we'll see what happens.
I have plans with Jennie later (I think?) and then tomorrow she, Hanna L and I are going to Pipe's for a drink/karaoke night :)

We'll see what happens next.

1. One of my nearest & dearest friends is apparently also attending UTD and will also be staying in the apartments with another good friend of mine which means we will definitely be able to hang out next year instead of drifting apart! :D

2. In less than an hour I am leaving to go to school to eat lunch and then take my final exam.  I'm nervous but I think I'll be okay once I get there.  In 5 hours I will be DONE with high school! "Omg yay" is an understatement.

3. I have great plans for the next week.  Really great plans.  Starting with today!  Right now I'm loading the 5 episodes of Grey's Anatomy that Jennie and I haven't seen because of finals.  Even Swedish television is ahead of us...

Fast det är ju egentligen mycket som händer...

Jennie har varit här nåra timmar och pluggat och tittat lite på våra serier :P  Självklart har vi gjort det.


Dea är förstås en rrrriktigt freak.

Finals start May 4th.
May 8th is the Lady GaGa concert...
May 21st I'll have finished my exams.
June 3rd is prom.
June 5th Jenny and Dad are coming.
June 10th is graduation.
then it'll just be an abundance of peace and chilling in Umeå until July 15-20th when I go home.
Wow.  June 20th...Men jag vill ju bo hos Jennie ett tag innan jag far...DUH :D  då skulle jag har bott med två av mina bästisar i ett år :P

They Didn't Quite Succeed

Ah, I can see it now.  Summer, working in the yard, music coming through the surround sound in the living room and backyard...There's a lot of light...
It's weird how many memories I have connected to two certain songs by them...

Anywho.

Stayed home sick today.  I didn't want to but this morning I had absolutely no strength at all.  I couldn't even press the Off button instead of snooze.

But I made it up by working on my english oral (now for the past 4-5 hours).  I think I'm making progress.
Dea is going to get some dinner soon and I'll do a couple of practice orals then.
I don't like doing it when somebody is listening :P
I'm sure you understand.


I'm so excited for all the upcoming events.  Hemavan, my birthday, more birthdays, Lady GaGa, prom, graduation.  All smashed up into just over 2 months.  I have to make sure I study though.  Really, now.

But all i can think about is how tired i am.
Oh well.  Life goes on.

I need phone money...I guess I'll do that when I go into town to pick up Hanna and the things at Hemköp.

Today is also Earth Hour!

Just think about the difference that it makes.  It's a brilliant idea.  We should have more Earth hours.  I mean...yeah some lighting is necessary, but just look at these pictures!  Think of all the energy saved when everybody's lights go out just for an hour.



We've also cleaned the entire apartment.
Haha I have now taken the "Before" pictures which we're going to compare to the "After" ones later.
I wonder how many people are staying at our place tonight?
Hopefully not many.
I really don't want to take care of people.
And we don't have breakfast.
