Dance to the Music

I have now registered for classes.  I attended Freshman Orientation and it was fun.
Jag hade verkligen roligt, samt hade det otroligt tråkigt och också hamnade på en jätte...obekväm situation. Den enda som jag kan säga är att det var en kille och han var inte allts min typ.  Allts.  Han var faktiskt så långt ifrån min typ som man kan komma.  Det var lite hemskt.

Men ja ja.  Har inte ens börjat skolan än.  Mitt schema suger, jag har lektioner överallt och börjar tidigt varje morgon.  Och jag fick inte vara med på fotbollslaget...Det sög mer än jag kan förklara.
Jag måste hitta nån idrott som jag kan vara med på.  Eller bara träna på egen tid.

Men idrott är så mycket kulare, eller hur?

Iaf, nu har jag kollat på filmen The Painted Veil.  Jag har sett den förut och till och med läst boken, men den var så jävligt bra endå.  Hemskt bra.  Väldigt...romantisk utan att vara klyschigt.



Nu ska jag gå och hjälpa till med maten.  Det blir koreansk mat ikv ;D  Det heter Samgyeopsal och det är nån slags koreansk bacon...  Iaf är det RIKTIGT gott!!  Man grillar vid bordet och äter det med ris och sallad och en olja sås grej precis när det är färdigt.  Ni borde äta det nån gång ;)

The Zoe-ster

Had a huge scare yesterday when Zoe got some form of indigestion.  Spent half the evening waiting for her to poop.  Constipation is one of the leading causes of death in rabbits.  Sounds awful but it's true and we love Zoe so much, we were genuinely concerned.

Woke up this morning (after a suuuper weird dream) to Jenny going "SHE POOPED!"
Probably one of my more relieved moments in life.

We've been relaxing lately.  Christmas was nice but now we've got to y'know...take it easy.  We cleaned the house a bit today and finished a puzzle that we received from my uncle i julklapp.  Then we went to Chili's.  Omg.  Soooo goood.  Chili's is definitely one of my top 3 favorite restaurants ever.  Unfortunately, they've redone their menu so my favorite meal (Cajun Chicken Alfredo with Fettucini) has been replaced with Cajun Pasta (with Penne).  Not as good.  I ended up getting the Country Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob.  Looks exactly like this: (webphoto)

but i love it.  its such a childhood meal.  it was a bit different from the normal Kraft version (it was organic something brand from lee) but it was still great.

I'm hoping there are more days with sunshine.

Worked on my business pretty well.

And now ive officially started my essay on repetition in Waiting for Godot.

I love how when Lee came, we spent like 2 hours

just sitting on my bed listening to music from ages ago

and showing each other new music.

We both listen to the same music so we were just belting out lyrics

from aaages ago.

I mean, we sang Jimmy Eat World, Weezer, Eminem, haha, Marilyn Manson, etc.

Good times.

I love singing really good rock songs with people.

It brings people together :P

After yesterdays outburst

Today has been productive.
I have finished Du&Du&Du for Swedish now.  It was a really weird book.
I have solved my math portfolio.  It really wasn't that hard at all.  Now I just need to pretty much type it and give it to Pelle.

I have my oral for Swedish on Monday.  Eek.  Gotta finish that.  But its only like 10 minutes and its about a book that I really enjoyed, so I see it as being okay.

And then its just a couple of things for English, my History IA first draft, work on my ToK essay and presentation and figure out whats happening with my Business IA.  Sigh.  Still lots, but I think it's alright.

I'm kind of into my ToK presentation, even if everyone else might get bored or not see it as a ToK topic.  Basically its about emotions and if they can be negative.  Except i need to refine the topic and question.  But i thought it could be a good start :)

And now I'm helping my Farmor with her lunch for her bookclub.  All of the food looks super great.

Making up for yesterday

Nu sitter jag här och lagar mat.  Kyckling med spaghetti.  Men jag har hittat några saker omkring köket (typ oliv olja, bbq olja, svart peppar, och oregano, konstig blanding, men luktar god iaf)

Lunch!

Finished mowing the other side of the sidewalk this morning and then went out driving for a while.  My mom was freaking out cause a maintenance truck came and i just went past it and she doesnt think im ready to drive with other cars around.  I agree, but i think im good enough to not hit it so far.  im really getting the hang of it.  i feel relaxed when i drive :)

Spent the rest of the morning cleaning since people are coming in a couple of hours...

Then i spent about an hour searching for a song that i only had a vague memory of.  i remembered the artist started with an s but nothing else.  but damn, i got skillz.  found the song through thinking of other artists and searching billboard lists.  it was always by saliva.  i listened to it (its been like 6 years since i heard it) and was disappointed that it wasnt that great of a song.  but its okay.

now im listening to Iron & Wine. ahh nice :)
